CORSHAM'S Stephanie Millward finished seventh in the women's S9 50m freestyle at the IPC European Championships in Madiera tonight.
Millward, who is basing herself in Manchester ahead of the Rio Paralympics later this year, clocked 30.87 in the final as Spain's Sarai Gascon clocked 28.89 to win gold in a new European record mark.
The 34 year old, who won five silver medals at London 2012, is also competing in the S9 women's 100m backstroke, 100m butterfly, 200m individual medley, 100m freestyle and 400m freestyle this week.
