He is now due to be sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court on May 22.

Speaking after Mr Young’s death, his widow, Jenna, said: “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Dale Young, a loving father, husband, son and brother.

“Dale loved being a father and would take our son on bike rides and train and bus journeys when he wasn’t at work, and when he wasn’t doing that, he enjoyed playing games on the PC.

“We cannot attempt to put into words what this accident has done to us a family.

“It has brought so much devastation and heartache.

“Dale always had time for helping others, whether this was fixing laptops or sharing his very vast knowledge to those who needed it.

“Dale had two families – if he wasn’t at home, he was at work, and this has ripped both worlds apart.

“Dale always had a smile on his face and always had time for a chat.

“Dale had the weirdest sense of humour but it was contagious. He enjoyed playing practical jokes on people, especially those at work, where he was held in great affection by his work colleagues.

“We would like to thank all the friends and family from various places for their massive support through this tragedy.”
