A historic Swindon landmark was featured on a long-running BBC TV favourite.
Countryfile presenters highlighted Barbury Castle in the latest edition of the programme, which included stunning aerial shots of the site taken by a drone as part of the episode's focus on the Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
A Swindon Borough Council spokesman said it was "fantastic" to see the spotlight shone on this centuries-old site.
The spokesperson added: "The iron-age hill fort is an amazing place to visit with great views of Swindon and rich with chalk grassland and associated wildlife.
"Dating back to 1200 BC, the rare and thin soil, has allowed only specialist plants to grow, all thanks to its rare drainage abilities, making Barbury Castle an isolated site, perfect for wildlife watching, walking, mountain biking, and horse riding."
The 60-hectare area near Wroughton has been managed by the local authority as a country park since 1971 and forms part of the ancient Ridgeway route.
The nearby Marlborough Downs also featured in the programme.
Last Sunday's episode is still available to watch on the iPlayer.
